Creating a Job

Navigate to Jobs → Create Job and complete the form:

  1. Enter or auto-generate a unique Job Reference Number.
  2. Select the Client from your database - or create one on-the-fly.
  3. Enter Pickup & Delivery Addresses with autocomplete, dates, and times.
  4. Optionally attach a Route from the Routes Library to auto-fill pricing, distance, tolls, and estimated hours.
  5. Add notes, attach documents (consignment notes, delivery instructions), and set priority (Normal, High, Urgent).
💡 Route-Based Auto-Pricing

Select a pre-defined route and the job inherits its base rate, distance, estimated hours, and toll costs instantly. No spreadsheet lookups, no pricing errors.

Assigning Vehicles, Fleet Operators & Routes

RouteNio shows real-time availability for every fleet operator and vehicle - so you always assign the right resources with zero double-bookings.

When you assign a fleet operator, they receive an instant notification (email, push, or both) with job details, addresses, and special instructions. They can accept and view everything through the Fleet Operator Portal or mobile app.

For fleet categories that support trailers, assign a trailer alongside the vehicle. Refrigerated cargo automatically matches to refrigerated trailers.

AI Smart Dispatcher

Use the Smart Dispatcher to rank available vehicles by safety score, current workload, fatigue compliance, route familiarity, and license endorsements. The dispatcher shows ranked suggestions - click One-Click Dispatch to assign the best match instantly.

Import, Export & Filtering

  • CSV Import - Download the template, fill in required columns, upload. RouteNio validates data and creates jobs in Draft status. Invalid rows are flagged.
  • Filtering - Filter by status, client, fleet operator, vehicle, date range, route, and invoice status.
  • Bulk Operations - Bulk status changes, bulk assignment, and bulk invoicing for high-volume operations.
